Signalling the Layout

This course will enable signalling designers to specify signalling equipment on signalling plans, based upon a client specification. This course is also known as Intermediate Signalling Technology Layouts, (ISTL).

This course provides the principles needed to correctly specify signalling equipment on signalling plans.

This course uses a combination of discussion and interactive activities and the spirit of the course is one of some input, discussion and building your own knowledge of signalling designers.

Prerequisite & Requirements
While there are no formal prerequisites for this course, it is assumed that attendees will have a working knowledge of signal designing. The delegate is expected to be able to interpret signalling plans and show a basic understanding of signalling principles for UK main line signalling installations.

Learning delivery
Classroom based at Derby training centre or on your premises. This course also uses a combination of discussion and interactive activities for content delivery.
