Position: Leadership & Professional Development Manager
Experience: I have been lucky enough to have worked across the HR and Learning & Development functions over the last 20 years. Before coming to NR, I worked for Royal Mail leading on cultural change programmes, frontline leadership initiatives, and employee experience/ engagement and recognition. Since joining NR, I have managed the Professional Development portfolio and been responsible for sourcing training content and delivery resource by partnering with suppliers and working with internal subject matter experts to support the continuous professional development of our people. I am an experienced project manager (APM PMQ) and people manager; my focus is on delivering high-quality training and a consistently positive delegate experience that makes a real difference to individuals, teams, and our business.

Position: Leadership & Management Development Consultant
Experience: Having served 30 years in the police, I retired after running the Metropolitan Police Leadership Academy where I was developing newly promoted officers and staff. I worked for England Cricket for 8 years In the Training Department and as a talent coach and became an ‘Insights’ practitioner for team and individual development. I joined Network Rail in November 2020 with a passion for developing leaders and teams to improve performance and have responsibility for Leadership Talent Programmes.

Position: Senior Leadership Development Consultant
Job role: I’m passionate about learning and about helping people become the very best version of themselves. I have spent over 20 years in Learning and Development in both the private and public sectors creating, developing and delivering programmes to Executives, middle management and aspiring leaders. I believe that understanding and leveraging the value of immersive and experiential learning can be transformational for both the learner and the organisation. I really enjoy using this approach to help groups and individuals develop.

Position: Head of People and Leadership
Job role: I have worked Learning and Development for over 25 years, working across many industries including press, digital, construction and rail. I have worked in India, Australia, and the Nordics. Prior to coming to NR I worked at East Coast Trains and then for myself, running an HR consultancy. I take a strategic view of our services, leading the team, team development, providing a great customer experience. I studied Human Resource Development at Uni and majored in Org Development so and really enjoy doing a needs analysis, designing a solution and then embedding the change in a sustainable way.

Position: Leadership & Professional Development Project Manager
Job role: I have worked for over 20 years in Learning and Development in both the private and public sectors creating, developing, facilitating and organising programmes. More recently, I completed the APMP Project Management qualification and I am the team’s project manager. I manage the processes for the development and implementation of new programmes, updates to existing ones and bespoke development.
