Programme Overview & Summary
PRINCE2 is one of the world’s most widely used project management methods. Based on best practice, the method can be applied to any project irrespective of its size, industry sector, geographic location or culture.
Style and Approach
This course provides a definitive overview of the latest version of PRINCE2. We cover it’s four integrated components: Principles, Themes, Processes, and Project Environment.
Audience
There are no formal prerequisites for this course but learners would benefit from some experience of working in projects prior to attendance.
Programme Structure
5 days classroom based training with digital learning of 5 hours and 8-10 hours of evening work during the classroom training and Foundation and Practitioner examinations.
Preparing for the workshop
5 hours of digital training prior to attending the course.

There are no prerequisites to attending this course, but 5 hours of digital training prior to attending the course will be required.

Course Syllabus
This 5 day course provides delegates with a clear understanding of the guidance designed to help maximise value within the achievement of programme and project objectives and the delivery of key stakeholder.
This course includes both PRINCE2 examinations, and all course materials to prepare you fully.
Course Learning Outcomes
This is an intensive course and please ensure you can commit the time to it. The structure of your course is:
- Pre Course Learning: approx. 5 hours in advance of your course
- 5 day course: 35 hours
- Evening work: 8-10 hours doing mock exam questions
- Foundation examination (taken in your own time following day 2): multiple choice, 60 questions, 33 correct answers (55%) to pass, 1 hour, closed book
- Practitioner examination (taken in your own time following the course): 2.5 hours, open-book (the official PRINCE2 manual only), 68 questions, 38 marks to pass (55%).
