Programme Overview & Summary

This four-day interactive course provides delegates with a clear understanding of the guidance designed to help maximise value within the achievement of programme and project objectives and the delivery of key stakeholder requirements.

Through attending this training course you will be able to assist your organisations to focus on maximising value by implementing principles that will help to: achieve transformational change more quickly, contribute to an improvement in decision-making and policy-making, meet the need to do more with less and to balance the increasing demands with available resources without compromising on quality, maximise returns on investments.

Audience

MoV is aimed at individuals who wish to acquire sufficient knowledge to enable them to contribute positively to any project or improvements in the operational environment.

Programme Structure

4 day class room based training, with 5 hours or pre course learning and about 4-6 hours of evening work. This course includes both MoV examinations, and all course materials to prepare you fully.

5 hours of pre course learning.

Prerequisite & Requirements

It is a requirement to have passed Foundation before your Practitioner results will be released.

Course Syllabus

This four-day interactive course provides delegates with a clear understanding of the guidance designed to help maximise value within the achievement of programme and project objectives and the delivery of key stakeholder requirements.

This course includes both MoV examinations, and all course materials to prepare you fully.

Course Learning Outcomes

This is an intensive course and please ensure you can commit the time to it. The structure of your course is:

  • Pre Course Learning: approx. 5 hours in advance of your course
  • 4 day course: 28 hours
  • Evening work: 4-6 hours doing mock exam questions
  • Foundation examination (taken in your own time following day 2): multiple choice, 50 questions, 25 correct answers (50%) to pass, 40 minutes, closed book.
  • Practitioner examination (taken in your own time following the course): 2.5 hours, open-book (the official MoV manual only), 8 questions (10 marks per question), 40 marks to pass (50%).
