Our five-day highly interactive course provides you with a thorough understanding of the Management of Risk: Creating and Protecting Value (M_o_R 4) methodology.

Style and Approach

M_o_R 4 is designed to help your organisation establish an effective framework for risk management, enabling you to make informed decisions about the risks that affect any of your strategic, portfolio, programme, project, product, and operational objectives as well as an integrated approach that gives senior management an overall view of risk.

Audience

No prerequisites are necessary for attendance, although experience of working in an Operational, Programme, Project, or Product environment would be beneficial.

Programme Structure

5 day class room based training, with 5 hours or pre course learning and about 8-10 hours of evening work. This course includes the M_o_R examination, and all course materials to prepare you fully.

It is a requirement to have passed Foundation before your Practitioner results will be released.

M_o_R 4 is designed to help your organisation establish an effective framework for risk management, enabling you to make informed decisions about the risks that affect any of your strategic, portfolio, programme, project, product, and operational objectives as well as an integrated approach that gives senior management an overall view of risk.

This course includes the M_o_R examination, and all course materials to prepare you fully. Although experience of working in an Operational, Programme, Project, or Product environment would be beneficial.

Course Learning Outcomes

This is an intensive course and please ensure you can commit the time to it. The structure of your course is:

  • Pre Course Learning: approx. 5 hours in advance of your course
  • 5 day course: 35 hours
  • Evening work: 8-10 hours doing mock exam questions
  • Practitioner (taken in your own time following the course): 2 hours 15 minutes, open-book (the official M_o_R ‘Creating and protecting value’ manual only), 65 multiple choice questions, 33 correct answers (50%) to pass.
