Management of Portfolios (MoP) provides advice and examples of how to apply principles, practices, and techniques that together enable the most effective balance of organisational change and business as usual.
Style and Approach
Delivered by fully accredited trainers and industry leading experts with extensive experience of portfolio management, the course engages with you to ensure that theory is embedded and delegates feel confident in the practical application of MoP. This course includes both MoP examinations, and all course materials to prepare you fully.
Audience
MoP is aimed at those involved in a range of formal and informal portfolio management roles encompassing investment decision making, project and programme delivery, and benefits realisation. It is relevant to all those involved in the selection and delivery of business change initiatives (e.g. Directors of Change, Senior Responsible Owners, Portfolio, Programme, Project, Business Change, and Benefits Managers, Business Case writers and project appraisers)

Course Syllabus
Course Learning Outcomes
This is an intensive course and please ensure you can commit the time to it. The structure of your course is:
- Pre Course Learning: approx. 5 hours in advance of your course
- 5 day course: 35 hours
- Evening work: 8-10 hours doing mock exam questions
- Foundation examination (taken in your own time following day 3): multiple choice, 50 questions, 25 correct answers (50%) to pass, 40 minutes, closed book
- Practitioner examination (taken in your own time following the course): 3 hours, open-book (the official MoP manual only), 4 questions (20 marks per question), 40 marks to pass (50%)
