This specialist course is intended to enable business analysts to understand the lifecycle, activities and techniques used in the definition, planning and realisation of business benefits. The business benefits are identified and predicted to result from the introduction of business and information system changes. Understanding how to manage benefits in order to enable their realisation is critical for business analysts working in all aspects of the business change lifecycle.
Style and Approach
This is an intensive 4 day classroom based course along with evening work. Please ensure you can commit the time to it. This course includes the final examination, and all course materials to prepare you fully.

This certification is relevant for anyone wishing to gain an understanding of the process and techniques used to plan, manage and realise business benefits which are predicted to result from business change initiatives. This certification is particularly relevant for business analysts, project managers, programme managers and business managers.

In this intensive course, you will be asked to complete 2-3 hrs of pre course digital learning before attending a 4 day onsite course. The final exam will last 40 mins.

Prerequisite & Requirements
No prerequisites are necessary for attendance but it is recommended that delegates should have completed, or have knowledge to the level of, the BCS International Business Analysis or the BCS Solutions Development Diplomas, before attempting this course.

Course Learning Commitment
This is an intensive course and please ensure you can commit the time to it. The structure of your course is:
- Pre Course Learning: approx. 2-3 hours in advance of your course
- 4 day course
- 90 minute examination with 40 multiple-choice questions
- The examination is closed book i.e. no materials can be taken into the examination room. The pass mark is 26/40 (65%)
- It can be taken online and up to 6 months after completing the course.
