Programme Overview & Summary

This course provides managers and practitioners from multiple disciplines, working in a wide variety of organisations, with generally applicable guidance encompassing benefits management principles, practices and techniques that enable organisations to optimise the return from their investments. in change. .

Style and Approach

This is an intensive 5 day classroom based course along with evening work. Please ensure you can commit the time to it. This course includes both management examinations, and all course materials to prepare you fully.

Audience

There are no prerequisites to attending this course, although you should be familiar with the basic concepts and language of business change.

Programme Structure

In this intensive course, you will be asked to complete 5 hrs of pre course digital learning before attending a 5 day onsite course. There will be evening work 8-10 hours completing mock exam questions. In the afternoon of day 3 you will take the Foundation exam lasting 40 mins. On day 5 you will take Practitioner exam lasting 2.5 hours.

Delegates will be asked to complete 5 hrs of pre course digital learning before attending a 5 day onsite course.

Course Progression

Please note: it is a requirement to have passed Foundation before attempting the Practitioner exam.

Course Syllabus

Delegates will look at the benefits management principles, practices and techniques that enable organisations to optimise the return from their investments in change.

Course Learning Commitment

This is an intensive course and please ensure you can commit the time to it. The structure of your course is:

  • Pre Course Learning: approx. 5 hours in advance of your course
  • 5 day course: 35 hours
  • Evening work: 8-10 hours doing mock exam questions
  • Foundation (taken on the afternoon of day 3): multiple choice, 50 questions, 25 correct answers (50%) to pass, 40 minutes, closed book
  • Practitioner (taken on day 5): 2.5 hours, open-book (Managing Benefits manual only), 8 questions (10 marks per question), 40 marks to pass (50%).
